I'm a Spanish teacher and always looking to add to my collection of short readings. Unfortunately, this book apparently never passed through a copy editor. It is full of typos and errors--some subject/verb disagreement, some verb tense inconsistencies, and small things that are probably typos but alter meaning, like "tu"/"su" for example. All these in the first 2 stories, which is as far as I got. If you just handed this to me, I'd think it was self published without bothering to hire a proofreader.As for the content, overall the grammar and vocab is level-appropriate, and I did like the use of idiomatic expression, but the stories are also trite and boring... Not that I have high literary expectations of the content I give my Spanish 2 & 3 students, but the two I got through were pretty lame. Coupled with the mistakes, I'm definitely not going to waste class time on this.The audio may be fine, I didn't bother to listen to it--but these are all errors that a native speaker should notice and not reproduce when reading so maybe the audiobook is useful.
